-BCM 18" SS410 w/13" BCM KMR rail, BCM BCG, and BCM charge handle
-80% lower from MAS Defense
-MFT minimalist stock in FDE
-BCM mod 3 grip in FDE
-magpul BUS
-Aimpoint comp M2

-on order is a CMMG gun builders LPK

-last thing is the trigger. I've been thinking CMC 3.5 flat bow but the more I look the more I think I might go with a geissele or maybe even an American gold. any suggestions?

So much for keeping my first build pretty simple, was thinking of keeping it in the $800-1000 range, haha, and then I went and spent more than that on the upper.

demon:  Selecting a trigger is no easy task.  There are so many choices its difficult to say what you will be happy with.  First question is single stage vs 2-stage.  Most of Geissele's triggers are 2-stage, meaning a short amount of take up then a crisp break.  The only single stage triggers I am familiar with are the original GI trigger, Geissele's SD3G and my current Hiperfire 24C.  These have the take up but no crisp break before the hammer falls.

I spent way too much money on triggers, trial and error style, until I determined I really like the Hiperfire best.  Next best IMO is the plain milspec trigger with polished engagement surfaces and JP Rifles "yellow" springs.  You can buy the GI parts for about $40 total and the JP springs cost $11, plus a bit more for some 320, 400, 600 and 800 grit wet/dry sandpaper. good luck - CW

Going to pick up a trigger tomorrow and I am still not sure what to get. My first option is the CMC 3.5lb flat bow. After that I have to choose from the Geiselle SD-C, super semi auto, and the super semi auto enhanced, and the a trigger that I don't much hear about but am curious about, the Timney AR-15 competition 3lb trigger. Any insight on these options?

Went to rifle gear yesterday and tried out what they had for triggers. I liked the single stage CMC over the 2 stage geissele. I think a geissele might be in my next build though. Here is the completely assembled rifle. Going to put a couple hundred rounds through it next weekend at the river then strip it down and send it out for Cerakote. Then on to the next build.

Sweet build.  Make sure you give a range report....I am looking at doing a similar build and am interested to hear how accurate it is and how it runs.

I definitely will. The Aimpoint is going to end up on a different upper and a scope will be on this upper. I would like 500+ yards from this upper.
