Hey everyone,

So I started this build about 3 months ago, and will be recieving my final two parts (BCG and Buffer Tube Assembly) this Friday to put her all together this weekend and I am quite pumped about it.

This is my second AR, first build, and I wish I did this with my first one. I will definitely be building all of mine from now on. But anyways, onto the build!

Part List:
Aero Precision Upper
Aero Precision Lower
Aero Precision BCG
Daniel Defense 16in 1:7 twist LW barrel
MidwestInsdustries 15in Gen 2 SS series rails
SilencerCo Saker Flash sider (SilencerCo Saker 556/762 soon to come to be used on this and my Scar17 )
VLTOR EMOD Stock
CMMG Lower Parts kit (Will probably be upgrading to a Geiselle trigger soon due to the one on my Scar being amazing and I feel the AR triggers would be the same)
MagPul 1.1 MIAD Pistol Grip
Spikes Tactical Punisher/American Flag ejection port cover
Vortex Optics Viper PST

Pictures soon to come once I am back home and have some sort of image converting website to make them URLs that isnt blocked on my work computer -___-

uh oh. No I didn't, does it requre it? When I was looking on the website I bought it off of it didn't say anything about requiring a special buffer tube.

Nope, the Emod will fit any milspec tube. He was probably just asking as the A5 kit gets sold with the emod relatively often.

I really like the emod I have on my "recce" build. Awesome lockup and cheek weld. With that being said, I ended up swapping the buffer tube out for the whole A5 kit further down the road and had wish I just pulled the trigger on the whole getup in the first place, but oh well.

Phew, that's a relief. Sort of. What is the difference between the whole A5 kit and just putting this on a regular mil-spec buffer tube kit? Is it that much of a difference?

Yeah fish was right.

The A5 is an upgraded buffer system...I love them. They are between the length of a carbine length and rifle length buffer tube. Makes the recoil a little smoother.

I may have to look into it in the future. Currently once its all together I'll be buying a BCM short vertical grip, some rail covers, and angled sights. Then the long wait for my suppressor. Probably while Im twiddling my thumbs waiting for that I'll look into the A5 assembly.

The A5 system extends the carbine length tube a little bit, uses a rifle length action spring, and an extended carbine buffer. My personal setup is the A5 kit with an H2 buffer and a JP centerground action spring on a mid-length gassed barrel. It's a super smooth shooting rifle, I'm a big fan.

I dont know why it keeps posting links instead of pictures, when I click preview it shows the pictures, and then when I post it it shows links...
