I was looking at picking up these 2 tools to hold the upper to do a build. Would they do the job? I know I cant use both at the same time but I do have a A2 upper that will need a barrel change at some time

The wheeler blocks known as upper clamshell blocks will work for barrel installation. You will need a set of barrel vice blocks for the muzzle device. Ditch the ebay special and just buy the lower magazine well block for around $10 shipped on ebay.
