I did one a while back, my first, I had a complete flattop upper from Armalite, Delton lower receiver,  I also used the Palmetto lower parts except for a CMC Modular trigger.  I thought the Upper was lubricated, but it was just a shipping/preservative oil.  After two or three magazines I started getting malfunctions. I cleaned and lubed it with no further malfunctions.  I had not really tightened my sights. Oops. tight now. Finall the little 'C' clips that were supposed to retain the trigger pins came out and I lost a pin.  I put some http://www.amazon.com/KNS-Non-Rotating-Trigger-Hammer-154-Diameter/dp/B006FXVK3C in and that did the trick.  It is a pretty good rifle now.

I am now building a twice the price rifle, hopefully I have learned some from my mistakes.
