[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Model 1 barrels

any idea who makes them? are they any good? I'm debating between them vs RRA for an 11.5 inch barrel with a GI fsb. or if i could luck up and find a BCM barrel that would be pretty cool too.

I've also emailed them to see if they will divulge who manufactures their barrels. anyone use them?

ETA i have found a few threads elsewhere butwanted some more opinion i guess

I thought they were made by ER Shaw but i could be mistaken.

They are/were made by ER Shaw. I bought a 20" Gov. Profile barrel from them about 4 years ago.

every description i have read on their site said E.R. Shaw

The 11.5's are heavier than normal under the handguards if the matters to you. Like medium/socom weight.
I've had two M1S barrels and have been happy with both.
