ok so i bought a raier arms 18" mountqin barrel,how do I determine the length of gas tube to purchase?

Most 18" have rifle lenght gas ports. Look here

It should have said on the invoice when you purchased it. If not, measure the distance from the port hole (gas block) back to the receiver end.
