Looking at buying a complete upper for my first AR build. PSA has an upper as part of there Freedom Sale, it has a Stainless Steel barrel. What are the pros/cons for Stainless Steel barrels compared to standard mil-spec style barrels? If any.

I'll put links below for the PSA upper and another one that I am looking at. (side note: I am doing the build on a budget)

Here's another PSA upper at AIM surplus that I am looking at:

Thanks for the help on this.

Stainless barrels are typically match-grade. Slightly more accurate.  PSA stainless barrels are made by Wilson Combat.

Thanks for the assist with the info. I was reading up on the barrel it's 416 stainless. Probably more than what I would ever need, but for the price...

Now if I can just come up with the money before the sale ends
