Barrel installed on my Aero M4E1 upper. Loving it! Gotta wait for funds to complete lower. These Aero uppers make it simple for noobs.

The barrel is 14.5", and I believe the handguard is 12". I'm at work at the moment, can't measure.

Put that on your lower before the stock, take pics, & post up in the pistol thread if you're building from a virgin lower.
