Im looking to start a new build and have a kx5 question. Would a kx5 work on a 14.5 inch barrel with a 15 inch rail, specifically a Samson evo rail. I like the barely exposed look, but not sure if it will block the ports. Or do.i.need to.go.to.a 16 inch barrel.

The Evo will fit a KX3 easy but the short detachable rails are hard to install with it on. Should work great with a KX5

KX 5 does not have any ports on the side.

Yes, I know it just has the two slots on the end, but i wasnt sure if they need to be a specific distance off the rail.

Either kx is going to stick out a lot on a 14.5 barrel and 15 inch rail combo.

I like that. If it only sticks out that far on a 14.5 im good with that.

Yea I forgot to say it's a 14.5 barrel.
