I think I posted this in the wrong section, so here goes. I ordered a 300BLK complete upper(link below) with a pistol length gas system. I am putting together lower parts list and was wondering if I can use a standard buffer. I don't really intend on using subsonic ammo much as It will be a mid range hunting rifle for whitetail deer. Thanks

I think when it comes in I will try it on my S&W M&P lower to see how it cycles. Then I can experiment I guess before I buy a new buffer. I do want a dedicated lower for it though. So the majority of the parts are already going on the wish list.

You should be okay with a standard carbine buffer.

Both my BLK's work with either carbine buffer and spring or rifle buffer and spring.......only using supers tho..........
