How can I install a gas tube with an already pined gas block on the barrel?  Note I dont have the tools/experience to pin a gas block myself,  so the barrel is shipping to me "complete" with the muzzel device pined and welded (14.5" barrel) and the VLTOR gas block pined.  Would it be possible to protrude the gastube through the  side of the gas block closest to the muzzel, just enough for the tightening/alignment of the barrel nut installation,  then slide the gastube into place and pin it.  Thanks in advance,  SOLP

Knock out the small roll pin holding the tube into the block. Remove tube. Tighten barrel nut onto receiver. Aline nut with gas tube hole.. Insert tube into reciever then opposite end into gas block. Reinsert small pin into gas block. Enjoy

Install the barrel and barrel nut without the gas tube. Once the barrel nut is properly torqued and aligned you slide the gas tube through the barrel nut and then back up into the gas block.

Didint think it would be that simple!  Also thought the gas tube would be too long to do it that way?

It tight fitting but I've done it on everything but a pistol length system. Might even work there, just never done it myself

If you think about it closely you cannot install the barrel with the gas tube in place, you won't be able to index the barrel nut.

Thanks all  I was only confused because most of the videos I watched the gas block was not pinned in place.   So they were able to just slide the tube and block on without having to do it the way you guys helped me with.

It's only too long if the BCG is in place!

Depends on what barrel nut you have...
