I'd like to add a rifle length 12" tube to this rifle. I use a high profile gas block with a detachable a2 sight post. Thing is my barrel is detented. Will it work?

You will need a low profile gas block or need to cut your A2 down to fit under your "tube" |
| I think he means a railed gas block with a fixed sight bolted to it that's pinned to the barrel? If so, it's going to have to go and you'll need a low profile gas block that will fit inside of whatever handguard you pick out. Existing sight should be able to be used on new rail if it's what I'm thinking it is. |
