| When putting a quad rail on your build can you put any length quad rail if your have the proper length gas tube or how does that work? You see some quad rails that are 9 inches and some are all the way out to the end of the barrel. How do I put a longer one on my AR if it has a 9 in one on it now. can you just buy a longer one and put it on? |
| Yep, as long as your rail will slip over the GB you are GTG.....the longer the better in most cases, more surface room equals better stability and shooting positions. Just be careful the rail in question is congruous with your barrel nut. Most use the standard nut, but companies like Troy (TRX) and Geissele use their own proprietary barrel nut. |
