I'm in the process of getting my tax stamp, so in the meantime, I'm building a pistol, to later change to a SBR when the stamp comes in.

Question is: in 5.56, is there a particular barrel length that is more preferred from a reliability standpoint and for possible later use of a Suppressor?

I've heard 10.5" is the minimum you'd want to go, but that was from one person?

Thoughts?

^This. any shorter and it can be a bit more problematic. If you want to go supper short, 300 blk is the way to go.
