Ok, I have "several" stripped lowers and parts kits to put them together.   Now I need the tools to do so.   Any recommendations for all in one tool kits or should I just buy what I need separately?    I don't want cheap tools that break easy, and I already have torque wrenches, and other basic tools (ie home and car) that I can use.   I will eventually be building the uppers also.  I have built bolt action rifles before, chambering, headspacing etc.   Thanks for any information.

I would definitely get an Armorer's wrench from Gem State Armory and a quality set of roll pin punches and roll pin holders.

Get a clevis pin from Home Depot/Lowes for the pivot pin installation.  Other than that your basic hand tools should work for the lower...

The upper and lower holding blocks help a lot.  Small nosed, needle nose pliers.  Like the other 2 said, roll pin punches, or at least the couple of smaller ones.

Damn, I knew I was forgetting something.  I guess size does matter after all...

Get a Geissele Reaction Rod

...and the Little Crow Gunworks AR-15 Trigger Guard Roll Pin Pusher

I use both all the time and find them invaluable.

I did my first stripped lower yesterday
I second the reaction rod comment best tool ever. The pivot pin detent flew 6 times before I used a small flathead screwdriver to hold it down and then swapped it for the pin. If you're willing to wait get something else for the pivot pin. The guide here mentions a tool and I guess the clevis pin works too.
I got a roll pin starter punch set from amazon that billed itself as AR specific, 4 punches and it's been working fine for me very inexpensive
