Well to start my wife bought me a Del-Ton lower for Christmas. Man was I excited to pick it up.
http://i883.photobucket.com/albums/ac40/TheTowingCowboy/DSCF9043_zpsf6a5c549.jpg Do to being unemployed, and still waiting on my first check I decided to use one of my afternoons to fill in the engraving on the lower. http://i883.photobucket.com/albums/ac40/TheTowingCowboy/DSCF9055_zpsf8dc004c.jpg As I slowly accumulated some extra money via gunsmithing, I was able to buy all my parts (Yes the white glare I have been working on getting off, its hard to see without intense light) http://i883.photobucket.com/albums/ac40/TheTowingCowboy/DSCF9067_zpsa4326faa.jpg Not to long ago I was able to assemble my lower, and tune the trigger for a nice crisp action. I feel it could use a slight more work on the seer, but when I put the upper of my bushmaster carbine on top it, it was amazing. Since my father wants to build him an AR and my taxes are coming soon I plan on switching some parts out, and donating them to my dad. Mainly the ACE stock, I am hoping to replace it with a Magpul PRS. I also plan on changing out my trigger for the JP rifles one with the light hammer and such. I am hoping hear soon to have more pictures. |
