Looking for a 16" Mid length gas system, 1:7" twist, preferably CHF, (Daniel Defense, Spikes Tactical, or ive heard FN is pretty good) id like to have the standard M4 profile, MUST HAVE M4 feed ramps, and a FSB.
I plan on using the Magpul MOE handguards with the Delta ring assembly for a while, giving me a complete rifle until i can afford the DD lite rail (free floating) with the FSB cut out on top. The whole point of me doing it this way is so i can slowly buy parts without having to settle for a substandard part, Plus i want to build it myself.  Buying stripped parts makes it easier for me because i dont have to spend a few months savings all at once, i can do it gradually.
I did find a barrel from PSA, but it was only 14.7 in which requires a pinned muzzle device. i plan on changing things eventually so i need to be able to remove it without breaking any laws. Im still a month or two from buying my barrel, but i want to know what i need to save for. Any help is appreciated! |

yes, but the M4 profile is a Carbine length gas system, the only Mid-length barrels they have with FSB is the Light weight and the government profiles. Links fixed. |

Links fixed. do you realize how little difference there is between the gov profile and the m4? Pretty much just the 203 cut. IIRC, the only midlength "M4" barrel made is RRA eta: RRA or Armalite. neither show it anymore |
