Worked pretty hard to get this all together, pieced it together from multiple places but feel it came out great and can't wait to shoot it

Lower:
Spikes Lower receiver with White Oak LPK and QMS Trigger
ADDED  Troy Ambi safety,  Seekins RED Mag release, Magpul alum trigger guard and an Ergo grip
Vltor Emod Stock with Vltor A5 buffer tube and H buffer assembly

Upper:(the fun part)
Spikes upper receiver
BCM Charging handle MOD4
Spikes BCG
White Oak 16" Mid-Length Carbine Barrel Stainless Steel  223 Wylde with SS Gas Block and rifle length gas tube
JP muzzle compensator
Daniel Defense 12" Omega X Rail
Magpul BUIS (only had the rear installed with the pics) and will switch around since backwards(thanks for the heads up)

Thanks for looking!

Looks nice but hard to tell with the lighting.

also it looks like you have a front sight (on second look maybe it's a rear sight again hard to see) on the rear of the rifle and it's on backwards.

Nice work on the rest though man congrats

Nice, good quality parts!

ETA: I love the A5's, I have a few, but I hate how they look blue

Mine isn't too blue but I see what you mean.  The Spikes buffer tube is same blue so it doesn't bother me too bad.  It does need broken in though as it is hard to extend and close.

So the flip up part is to flip towards the front vs flipping up towards you?  Where you press is in the rear so if I have it backwards then I would need to reach around the site to press... I'll see if I can take some better lighted pics but think I have it installed right

Yes it should flip towards the front not towards you. You don't have it installed right that i am 100% certain of. Also you'll need a front sight

Like i said other than that it's a good looking build

some pics to show you how it should look...but hey if it works for you who am i to complain

Thanks for the info, yea seems like they would flip the way I have it but I can switch it.  I have the front one just need to pull it off my other one and put on here.  I updated the pics too

Any scope recommendation?  Red dots are nice but hard to see out to 100 yards where you hit so thinking a scope on this one but don't want to spend a fortune.

Depending on what you want if you don't want to spend a fortune you can try vortex or see what primary arms has on sale:

I've got the strike fire and like it a lot but just can't see the target so well at long distances. Thanks for the links.

What kind of budget were you thinking?

$300 or so which I know limits me. I might just go with the strike fire II but would like a little better magnification.

If you want a scope rather than a red dot you can try these:

I like this one:
https://www.primaryarms.com/Primary-Arms-1-6X-Scope-with-Patented-ACSS-Reticle-p/pa1-6xrbd.htm

Would a  6X allow me to see the target pretty good at 100 yards(as far as where I am hitting)?  Do I need both  mount/rings  for a scope  like this or  just one?

Looks good. My first build was with a Spikes upper and lower. Couldnt be happier!!!
