I have a standard 16" Dissy. It currently has a Magpul MOE hanguard.

I would like to know what rail systems will work on a Dissy?  I know cutting down the front sight post will open many options, but, can I use any rails with the front sight in place?

Thanks in advance.

KAC RAS rifle length.

Should be able to find plenty used in the EE, and it's good kit.

Yes, any 12" rail should work.

I have one with a DD Omega (FDE one) and a KAC M5 (all black).

Any other options out there or do I need to remove the FSB to open up my options?

This is a good question. I've wondered about installing a free float on my PSA dissy.

I have a Dissapator with MOE handguards, I just bolted rails on the spots where I needed to add something. It's rock solid and keeps the gun on the light side and also the profile stays nice and slim.

This...there's no need having a full quad rail because you won't use every inch of all four rails

If you do want to go with something different, no need to cut anything down.  By definition your front sight post is just a sight and you can remove it,  if you have a sissy, you already have a cut down or lowpro gas block under your rail.

Very valid point. I think I will go that route. Just looking to switch things up as I am more into long range shooting so I would like to free float it and get a different handguard.
