Starting with 80% lowers to build three rifles. A CMMG 22lr upper on my practice 80% lower is the first build completed. The 5.56 and 300 Blackout parts are all on hand. Just have to finish the Lower for those. My lovely wife enjoyed herself at the range when we took her. She cannot shoot a rifle with any recoil at all. Repaired shoulder. So when I saw the 22 lr upper I just had to have it. And for just plain fun this gun is put together with weight savings in mind. For example there is no buffer or spring in the tube. Not needed. Plastic handguard, minimal weight but comfortable stock, etc.

When I got the PSA lower machined (really sort of gnawed away) it needed a finish. I like the look of nickel so I did a little painting on some of the other parts. This is the result. The plastic pieces need another coat of paint. And the sights are still TBD for this little rifle.
