I've been a lurker here for a while and decided to finally jump aboard. If anyone if from Washington State you may have seen my user name on our local boards.

I was bit by the AR bug and decided to finally build one. I started out with a Spikes Lower when a local FFL finally got some in stock post-panic. Found an LPK on PSA with 2 mags for about $50-60 (pricey compared to the sales now but was happy at the time)
I got a MIAD with all changeable sizes and the floor plate that holds 3 extra rounds for cheap and picked up the B5 SOPMOD for $50

I ordered a complete PSA upper. 16inch carbine with BCG and midway industries SSG2 12inch free float rail. Got a raptor charging handle, Yankee hill QDS BUIS and got an EoTech 517 as a gift. Here is how she looks now.

Tied to show the co-witness in the last pic. The reason the EoTech is so far up is because I plan on getting 3x magnifier on a flip to side mount.

Today I installed my CMC 3.5 lb flat trigger, Magpul MOE trigger guard and KNS Anti-rotation pins. The pins were mostly for cosmetics as I don't think I'll run into a problem with a semi-auto. But I over torqued it and slightly bent one of them

Nice looking first build there. I used those KNS pins on my first build too. Got rid of them and didn't use them on any others. All they do is make it that much more work to swap out trigger parts.

Those pins actually make sense with that trigger, fwiw.

I originally purchased the pins only because I liked the way the look on a rifle. For $20 when PA had them sale I figured I could spoil myself. However after I got the CMC Trigger (Crazy sale $108 OTD) I was glad I bought these pins, I didn't like the c-clamp pins that came with it.
