My g/f's son is building his first ar15. He ordered a YHM Mid length free float quad rail(YHM-9633-DX ). If he gets a barrel with a mid length gas port, will the rail hide the gas block?

If the rail is 9" it will not cover the gas block. If it's 10" it will cover some or most of the gas block. If it's 11" it will cover the gas block.
Just looked it up, it will not cover the gas block.
