Been in the background here reading and researching for a long while. Made a few lists of what I needed to buy, which promptly got marked up, scratched out, wadded up and re-started many times.

Stag Arms: Lower Receiver and LPK Aero Precision: Upper Receiver Ice Arms: BCG and Bolt (ordered and received a long time ago, before I saw any of the posts about their customer service) Brownells: DPMS - 20" SS Fluted Barrel Micro .936 Gas Block Midwest Industries - Gen II SS Series Handguard Magpul - MOE Rifle Stock Sportsman's Warehouse: Nikon Buckmaster Scope Nikon M-223 Scope Mount Built this with the intent of using it for varmint shooting and haven't decided on a bipod or bench bags yet. I got a barrel chambered for .223 and not 5.56 which I first thought that may have been a mistake but after wading through lord knows how many web pages of info (and opinions) I'm thinking I'll be OK with it. |
