I have 4 built 9mm set ups and they all run flawless with Colt/Metalform mags.
I have 2 CMMG, 1 RRA and a DDLES and wouldn't do any different if I had to start over. The RRA bolts aren't ramped so you must use a different hammer. THE CMMG bolts are so you can use a Geissele or other drop in. The DDLES' ejector prefers a RRA bolt to clear it. I had a RRA bolt ramped for use in a DDLES lower with a Geissele trigger. I would suggest a CMMG lower and bolt to start out with for least amount of headache. |
