Honestly i just picked the upper up today from the gunsmith. So, i havent had a chance to test it out yet. I am hoping to go on tuesday or wednesday to sight it in. Still not sure if i want to keep the ACS-L on it or swap it out with the CTR i have on my midlength.

Is the guard made to go around the sight or is it modified?

Its made to go around it or for a piston setup.

How much did the mount cost you. Also is it basically the same mount as the Lt129?

It was about $150 i think. It is the same as the Larue 129 as it provides an absolute co-witness.

Very sexy build. Personally not a fan of the look of the ACS-L.. Never handled one though.

I decided to switch out the acs-l with the ctr i have on my other one. Looks a lot better. However for me with the extended buttpad and the acs-l it was the perfect LOP with out having to adjust the stock. I may switch them again after i am able to take it out. Going to try both and see which one feels better.
