Hey guys,
Mixing it up for my current build and decided I'm going to go down the Cerakote road.

I got a good quote from these guys, just wondering if anybody has any experience with them: Rogue Tactical Coatings

Just a bit paranoid, I've never sent a gun/parts off for work before and want to try to verify the company does good work.

What are you getting done and how much did they quote?

I've heard that these guys are really good. Plan to use them when I'm finished with my build.

I haven't used them but instead found a good local source for Cerakote.  I love the coating, its very hard stuff.

Thanks for the replies. I'm getting both receivers and the rail done. Quote I got from Rogue was $175 for the three pieces.  I wanted to stay local and not fool around with shipping but everywhere around here seems to be pretty pricey. I did email Joint Force Enterprises for a q quote as well last week but haven't gotten a reply.

That quote seems about right, Cerakote isn't cheap, maybe prices of the service will come down in the coming years since it's a fairly new thing. There's an industry partner that charges $160 but then you'd have to go shipping it off so you're probably better off staying local.

I used http://wwgunsinc.com to do this:

FAST turn around time. It was more then $175.00 but they did a great job.
