I recently decided to start on my first build a few weeks ago ..
I acquired a Del-ton Lower through buds Gun Shop http://dl.dropbox.com/s/jtqgy6nfhpe8ude/2013-09-18%2017.04.27.jpg Seemed pretty nice for a $100 I then got a LPK from Palmetto State with Magpul pistol grip and trigger guard, and also a Mil-spec buffer assembly with a Black Hawk Knoxx adjustable stock http://dl.dropbox.com/s/ahw3wgpsjckaveo/2013-09-27%2021.46.22.jpg Every thing seemed to go together very well till I was putting in my roll pin on the bolt catch when everything popped free and sent the bolt catch plunger flying to god knows where. Thoughts on where to buy one with out paying at least $5 in shipping? | Hey cavemnkey, You have the castle nut on backwards partner. No big deal to fix, just take the stock off, remove the buffer tube/receiver extension, unscrew the castle nut, flip it around with the small notches facing towards the lower(opposite of how you have it now), and then re-install everything. Once you're done, go ahead and properly stake the castle nut so that you will not have to worry about it ever coming loose... |
Not going to have the AR finished this year, production on the barrel will probably not be till January.
