| My question is this, who has purchased a blemished lower from PSA and if so what blemishes did you find on it. What qualifies as a blemish to PSA? Is it just cosmetic? or can it be things like the treading for the buffer tube is the wrong threading? Just want to make sure if I make the purchase, it will be functional in a build that I want to do. Thanks. |
| I bought two about a year ago and the "blemish" was that the finish was a little thin in a couple of spots. I couldn't find them. I've bought blemished uppers from BCM that had very minor dings or scuff marks. If you use your AR at all, you'll "blemish" it far more than they are when you get them. |

I don't know what their criteria are for a "blem lower". I've built on a couple psa lowers including them blem lowers...no issues. GTG |
| This is great to hear everyone. Thanks for your input, it means a lot. I am working on my first build (and my first AR) :-D I am pretty stoked at this point. Trying to keep it in budget for now, and I have found some quality parts on sale in various places. I shall post a list once I have everything finalized! |
| I have purchased two blemished uppers and two blemished lowers and on each one of them the "blemish" was a white mark that came off when I rubbed it with my thumb. PSA blemished uppers and lowers and an AMAZING deal and are equal to anything put out by DD or BCM, IMO. I would HIGHLY recommend getting a blemished PSA lower. You can't beat the price! |

You definitely picked the right company to begin your build with! Congrats on your first build! I can't think of anything more satisfying than building my first AR!! \m/ |

I have 4 Blem PSA Lowers. I can not tell the difference between them and the 5 Regular PSA lowers I have. My FFL counldn't find any issues with the Blem's when he received them, he refinishes firearms on the side as well. We boht looked them over and couldn't find any issues. They all built just fine.
