Ok so after talking to my buddy... I decided I wanted to build an ar to shoot just for fun at the range. At first I figured I would buy a piece here and a piece there and build it slowly.
Fast foward to yesterday, I received another summer bonus from work so as drake said. | Good parts list, shawn. Get the parts while you can, there is talk among Cali legislators about an outright ban on semi auto rifles. Once you get it all together, then you will inevitably start thinking about upgrades. For example the pistol grip, buttstock and trigger. Have fun - CW |

Had never even shot an AR before I decided to just go for it. Ended up doing 4 more. I agree with the premise of the question though. It probably isn't for everybody. |
