Anybody ever used spiral/wound roll pins in place of the standard ones.  I know the RRA LPKs used to come with them, don't know if they still do.  I also noticed that my Spike's upper has one retaining the Forward Assist.  Looking for input and/or source.  Thanks.

I have used the coiled RRA roll pins to install two Magpul enhanced aluminum trigger guards on two Colt lowers that had previously had the factory installed standard/flat aluminum trigger guards.

The coiled RRA pins went in really easy with no chance of damaging anything, but since the coiled RRA pins went in so easy they also started to walk out during shooting.

Now I use these. > Link.
