I'm going to be building a light weight ar for the wife and want to get the lightest possible I can. She's a tiny 100 lb woman.
I want either a 14.5 or 16" barrel Rail free float lightest possible Lightest sights Lightest stripped upper Basically lightest everything. What would you use and why and list weight of the parts p l e a s e. |
| ARs aren't exactly heavy guns. My wifey can handle a 16 barrel just fine with the floating quad rail and such. She HATES to shoot my colt 10mm delta but she is looking forward to shooting the AR. Mine is a generic mulit cal lower (Defcon by Ammo Bros.) JD machine upper, green mountain barrel, CMMG bolt group and lower guts, and a daniel defense type quad. I will weigh it when I get home but its not heavy. |

This is kinda light
You may want to look into a 14.7" perma attached FH with KAC M4 rail system. |
