I am about to embark on another lower build.  I'm pretty sure I know what I want, but this industry moves so fast that there may be parts out there that I simply dont know about.  The lower is a Noveske Gen 2 FFL.  The rifle will likely end up being a DMR style rifle.

On to my parts selection questions:

KNS anti-rotation pins - worth it, or snake oil?  Never used them before, but they sem like a fancy part and this is a fancy lower.

Trigger - Thinking about a Spike's enhanced NiBo trigger.  Would love a Geissle or JP, but I cant justify the expense.  Anything else I should consider?

Selectors - I was thinking about a Noveske STS.  Then I figured I would stick with an old-fashioned 90 degree lever.  Any good looking/sturdy levers that I should consider? I know I do NOT want an ambi.

Mag buttons - Any options that are better than Spikes or Seekins Billet?

Mag release - Should I go Phase 5 1-piece or standard release with Magpul BAD (I have a BAD on another build and like it).  Price is about the same when you factor in the paddle with the BAD.

Pivot/Takedown Pins - Anything better than good, old-fashoined Armalite pins/springs/detents?

LPK (springs, detents, etc..) - Any reason not to go with good old fashioned Armalite parts?

Thanks in advance

Skip every superfluous "upgrade" on your list and run, do not walk, for a Geissele trigger.

I appreciate the advice. But as I said, I cant justify the expense of a Geissele trigger.  I would be interested to know what you think is superfluous.  That is the kind of info that would be helpful.

The selector, pins, mag button, and release.  The standard parts work just fine.  You can probably find cheaper LPKs than Armalite.  My PSA kit was good quality, went right in my Spikes lower with no problem.  Trigger is crisp, for a standard AR trigger.

This. White Oak Armament makes a LPK without the trigger for $40. I have used them before and they are good to go. WOA LPK and Geissele trigger. Done.

Cake decoration, IMO.

Geissele G2S ($165) (or Armalite adjustable) Both are moderately priced and might fit the budget.

Selectors - I was thinking about a Noveske STS.  Then I figured I would stick with an old-fashioned 90 degree lever.  Any good looking/sturdy levers that I should consider? I know I do NOT want an ambi.
Use the selector in your kit

Mag buttons - Any options that are better than Spikes or Seekins Billet?
Use the mag button in your kit. That Seekins is fuuugly.

Mag Bolt release catch - Should I go Phase 5 1-piece or standard release with Magpul BAD (I have a BAD on another build and like it).  Price is about the same when you factor in the paddle with the BAD.
Use the stock catch (or Armalite or LWRCI) and put the savings toward the trrigger.

Pivot/Takedown Pins - Anything better than good, old-fashoined Armalite pins/springs/detents?
GTG

LPK (springs, detents, etc..) - Any reason not to go with good old fashioned Armalite parts?

Add up all of the unnecessary frosting you are considering and you can easily afford a better trigger.

KNS pins are wholly unnecessary and won't effect your accuracy or rate of fire in any way.
Neither will most of the other parts on your list.
Upgraded pivot pins? That's almost a joke. There are very few practical reasons you would want these.

Palmetto State Armory has great deal on lower parts kit with Geissele SSA trigger for $199.99 plus shipping, if you haven't bought your lower parts kit yet this is the way to go here.

That's almost like getting the LPK for free.

You must not have a G trigger on any of your others or you would want it on this one as well.

If you want the best quality LPK you can buy then go Colt. I always use a Geissele SSA and fill the rest of my lower with Colt parts.
