After 5 months, I finally finished my first AR. Thanks to all of you guys who contribute here for giving others advice. I was able to read here for several months and figure out which direction I wanted to go with this build.
Upper: Quentin Defense slick sided billet upper BCM BHF 16" mid-length barrel BCM Gunfighter charging handle (med latch) Young Mfg. BCG DD 10" LITE rail (may change it out to a 12") BCM low profile gas block standard A2 flash hider Magpul front/rear sights Magpul AFG2 Lower: Quentin Defense billet lower Spikes Tactical LPK Mapgul MIAD grip Magpul ACS mil-spec stock Spikes Tactical ST-T2 buffer 
Took this to the range this past weekend and had absolutely no failures at all. Again, thanks to all who contribute here. |

Thanks for the kind words. I've got a Geiselle SSA coming this week and will get an Aimpoint Micro T-1 sometime in the near future. Any suggestions on the mount? I've been looking at the Seekins and the Fortis mounts. Also, any suggestions on a different muzzle device?
Wife says it's time for me to start getting things together to build her SBR (Still need to submit her paperwork). Hers will also be on a Quentin Defense lower and upper, but the upper will have the FA and brass deflector. |
