I have a new DD carbine barrel and a WMD bolt carrier group. I can drop a sized trimmed 5.56 case in the chamber, close the bolt, and the bolt will not open or remove the case from the chamber. I can't determine which piece is causing the hang up. This gun is unfired. Barrel chamber has been cleaned, and the bolt doesn't have problems that can be seen. Bolt works normal without using a dummy round or case. Any suggestions. The case I am using is brass, sized, trimmed and prepped to reload. Also have tried new Lapua brass with the same results.

I might be reading this wrong, but I know I stopped using the magpul dummy rounds because they don't feed correctly I just stacked up on snap caps. If I read this wrong, excuse me.

When the extractor engages the rim of the case, it seems to open enough to prevent the lug on the bolt from leaving the chamber. All the rest of the lugs line up but the extractor does not. I had to disassemble the bolt from the carrier, drive out the pin that holds the extractor to remove the bolt from the chamber. WMD N Boron bolt with a pink? colored donut on the spring. Problem?

Hmmm. yeah I would just swap that out if you don't mind doing that before calling them. That is kind of odd...
