So after about 4 months, I've finally completed my first build which also happens to be my first AR.

PSA 16'' premium mock dissipator upper
Windham Weaponry BCG
Stag Arms lower
CMMG Lower parts kid
PSA mil-spec buffer tube + standard buffer
Magpul MOE rifle length hand guard
Magpul basic MOE stock

looks good. I'm debating making the identical rifle to what you just built for my current stripped lower project.

Nice.  You're going to have a hard time building a better-looking "next AR".

I like the look of the dissipator a lot. It seems like the PSA dissy with the moe hand guard is becoming more of a popular build. I'm not planing on putting optics on it just yet so I will be using it primarily just to plink with using the iron sights.

The last final touch I may put on it is a bi-pod of some sort.

The MOE on a dissy is a very clean look. I was thinking of doing one but I already have three sets of furniture for two rifles...

Looks really good.
I've wound up with an 'extra' lower and am considering a very similar build.

The only thing that I messed up on was I nicked the finish on the area around the bolt catch roll pin when installing it. One little slip with the punch.

rifle length sight radius is very nice.  I enjoy running FSBs with absolute co-witness, I don't have a middy 16" gun so a mock dissy just makes some practical sense.

Sounds like you need to by 2 more stripped lowers then both problems will be solved.

By the way, nice looking rifle.

I also like having the rifle hand guard on it so there's more real estate to hold onto and put stuff on but still maintaining the short length of a 16'' barrel.

Great looking rifle, I may have to add one in this style somewhere down the road!
WRT the nick, these things happen. Get yourself a bottle of this, it'll fix you up good as new (nicked my M16 A1 clone in about the same area- can't see it at all now).

That is a great looking weapon. I wanna build a dissy one of these days. Sadly other projects come first.

Post a range report when ya get the chance. I was looking at the Palmetto Uppers possibly for my dissy build eventually.
