| Just an FYI but Geissele does not recommend the use of KNS pins with their trigger sets. Geissele says that the KNS pins are too soft and will deform. I forgot where exactly I read this but I distinctly remember seeing something that said not to use KNS pins with their triggers. |

It will change things if it is true. |
| The Vltor A5 buffer tube can be had but the fucking spring and buffer are unobtainable right now so good luck if you go that route. I'd get the BCM gas block, charging handle Mod4 and Extension kit they are very well made and function flawlessly on my two spikes builds. |

Buy a Geissele super gas block which has two bottom set screws and a pre-drilled hole for pinning. Get your gun smith to do the pinning.
On my set-up, he dimpled one of the set-screws to get proper gas hole alignment before drilling and pinning. The gas block's pre-drilled hole for the pin is reinforced and part of the stainless steel casting of the gas block. No guess work on where to drill through the gas block. It's pricey @ $59 for a non adjustable block. I prefer it over my Rainier Arms gas block. By the way, pinning is the way to go. My local guy, did it for $25. Geissele's instructions on page 2 says for duty or combat situations pinning is preferred. They call it a "Bombproof Installation". I laughed when I read it for being way over the top, but after getting done - they are absolutely right! Spend the $$$ and get it done right the first and last time. |
