Is it possible to use an M16 Full Auto BCG in a Semi-auto AR15 build (long term) and work without issues?

Yes, the system was designed to use the full shrouded, full weight bolt carrier. It is also legal to do so because it does not change the function of the firearm.

Thought so as I have shot an M16 in semi-auto before, but wanted to see if that was OK to do. I found some M16 BCGs for about $119-130 each.

Yeah but just put a select fire selector switch and a full auto trigger with a happy hole and ya' got whoop ass. Agree that the full auto bolt carrier group poses no problems.
