[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Looking for front sling loop

I am not sure of the exact part name, but I recently bought an upper from AIM that came without the standard front sling loop- the hardware is there, but the actual loop and pin which holds it in is not there. I am sure I am doing something wrong, but I cannot for the life of me find this part anywhere online. Does anyone have a spare or just know the correct name or best place to find this part. I know I could mount a sling other ways, but since the mounting bracket piece is there already, I think it looks a little strange without the loop.

I think you're talking about the front sling swivel and rivet. Midway USA and Brownell's sell them, among others. Should be about $5 total for both parts.

Seen one at maparts earlier today.

I think their shipping is through FedEx, so it may be high for a small part.

THANKS. It would be nice if someone made a quick detach type fixture loop for that spot. I am not sure I have ever installed a rivet...
