I am just getting ready to do my first build and was looking for some input on DPMS lowers. All I currently own now are Bushmaster and Armalite rifles. Are they a quality product and is $135 at a local dealer about right for a stripped lower?
Thanks for any info. Mark |

$135 at a local FFL is doable at this time.
Not my first choice, but I can't think of anybody ever complaining about an out of spec DPMS stripped lower. I just don't like the kitteh... I think you will be just fine
LGS snag for $135 right now? Hell yeah. Who knows what all this bomber BS is going to do to the just-now-recovering AR market if they highlight what rifles those 2 bastards used |

rather then start another thread I will just add to this one asking about more DPMS stuff...how do you guys like thier LPK's? Sorry to step on your thread OP I've used a bunch and they're fine, although the roll pins can be a tight fit sometimes, especially the trigger guard roll pin, but it's no harder to install than the one Magpul includes with MOE trigger guards. The FCGs are hit and miss in terms of feel, but that's common to many brands. The DPMS hammer is somewhat desirable because the shape works well with .22LR kits and some 9mm uppers. |
| They work fine. I had two, one of which is on one of my SBRs. Personally, i hate the cat on the side of the receiver, but that doesn't affect function in the least. I managed to sell the other for $200 a couple weeks back and get a CMT billet lower for just a few extra bucks out of my pocket. |
