I am building my first Ar. So far a plametto blemished lower BC blemished uopper and the Palmetto lower parts kit. Stock is the acs from magpul. I want to get a 16 midlength would the standard buffer be okay or do I need an upgrade? If i do need the oupgrade to what and why?
Also is the battle comp good for me? |

Standard buffers work fine with middies. Before buying a BattleComp for your first rifle, try out a much less expensive option: an A2 flash hider. It would be useful for you to see what the baseline muzzle device does for you before going for something that is expensive and may not be even useful for you.
Waiting for pictures of the finished rifle.... |
