Question for anyone that has recently purchased/installed an ALG Combat Trigger.  Mine was pre-assembled (disconnector spring, hammer spring, trigger spring, etc) when I received it, but my Hammer Spring was installed incorrectly.  For a few minutes, I thought I was installing it on the Lower incorrectly, but turned out I needed to remove the hammer spring and install it correctly.  Has anyone else experienced this?

I've only installed one ALG trigger, but the hammer spring was correct.

Just found it odd that I had to flip the spring before installing.  Was afraid that I installed it incorrectly, but it function checks fine.

Take a couple of close up pictures and let us look at it in the lower to double check it for you.

How do these ALG Combt triggers differ from standard mil spec triggers?

I have the ALG QMS trigger on my most recent build. Compared to the Palametto state armory standard trigger. the difference is night and day. It's a much shorter pull, and much more smooth. It's almost identical  to the stock trigger on my black rain ordnance rifle. However, Don't buy one, expecting it to be a super light pull...

Not exact pictures, but this resembles what I've got.  The trigger shipped looking like this:

And I had to flip the spring to install like this:

Hopefully, someone can confirm that this is correct.  Thanks for the help.

second picture is how its suppose to be installed...the first one is wrong because there's no tension on the hammer to swing and hit the firing pin.

The only thing needed to make Pic 1 look like Pic 2 is to ROTATE the hammer spring around the hammer about 200 degrees. Doesn't need taken off, and nothing is wrong with it; you simply installed it incorrectly. It happens.

Are you talking about the hammer spring?  That is all I see  " wrong" in your picture, the hammer spring will pivot around on the hammer when not installed......
ETA what I am saying is, from your  pics the only person that installed anything wrong, is you.  You are supposed to make sure the spring is rotated around correctly.  Geissele didn't install the spring wrong there is nothing to trap it to the back when its not installed.

This is what I'd like to know too.

Is the $20.00 dollar difference between the ACT and QMS worth it or not?

Is 20.00 bucks that big a deal? The ACT is polished more and has a Nickle Boron coating.
If 20.00 means that much to you it might not be worth the difference.

Well sure, why stop at $65 dollars? Might as well spend $250 on a true Geissele Super Dynamic Enhanced Trigger system while I've got all that disposable income to dump into my AR build.

And no, $20.00 dollars isn't that big of a deal. But in the grand scheme of an overall AR build and spending extra money on things that might make little or no difference to ones particular application adds up quick. Not all of us have the luxury of being made of money.

Just asking a question. Don't appreciate the attitude.

I gave you an honest answer.  You are the only one that can say if a better trigger is worth more to you, for your applications.  The ACT is an OK trigger, its better than any of my Stock triggers.  It sucks next to ones that have a G on the trigger bow.  Again its up to you to decide if that 20 is worth it.
