Looks good. Post a range report when you shoot it.

looks good! How does the rail and the furniture match up? Contemplating the same setup.

SPR's a a neat platform. I built my Grendel in a SPR'ish fashion. I went with a 20" barrel instead of dropping to 18". I had the intention of having the barrel cut, but think I will leave it to take advantage of the round.

Yours looks really good. Let us know how it shoots.

I have not really put any groups down on paper but on steel it shoots really good at 550 yards I was getting very little wind drift with the 68g hornadys. The troy fde is a little lighter but not bad deffiently a better match then MI fde there's is more of gold almost. But I love my MI rail you can only tell at certain angles. I can't wait to work up some loads for this thing I bought some 77g smk the way it was shooting at 550 I think 650 would be no problem.

Good looking stick.

Not happy with the existing stock?

Looks good.

I have a lower sitting in my safe waiting for parts to become available again.

I am planning on a 5.56 18" heavy countour 1-7" twist barrel, PRI handguard, PRS stock, etc., etc.  I want to shoot heavies so i can take advantage of our new laws allowing .223 for antelope and deer.

How do you like the Vortex viper? I'm wanting to start a precision build before long and thinking about one for my build.

I like the set up and the tan furniture looks great, tastefully done. Are you going to use any BUIS?

I actually love the prs it's just a little heavy for this build I am trying to find the b5 sopomod stock in fde and I'm going to put that on my carbine and put the UBR on the spr and the Prs back on my Grendel. The Grendel is sitting idle because she is lacking the scope she deserves 4-16 vortex viper pst ffp and my significant other just might do me in if I buy it right now so I have to wait a little bit.

The vortex viper is a heck of a scope for the money. You can get the v-plex model for 275 from camera land they run a special on them. I am going to buy a couple more for a few hunting rifles. I plan to run the troy buis in fde I have been watching the EE for a used set to pop up for a decent price.

Took it out to 725 yards today and getting consistent hits. I'm really impressed with this set up I have still yet to put groups on paper but I will soon.
