I wanted to see if anyone had used a DRD lower for their build. As I understand it, they are fairly new to the 5.56 lower arena. It is billet and when I went to test fit it with my Vltor upper, it did not have a nice fit and the color was a bit off. I just wanted to see if anyone had an upper they would recommend for both and finish.
On a side note, does anyone have their favorite when it comes to billet upper? I have only used the spikes and Seekins, both of which were nice, but didn't know if anyone had another idea. Lastly, has anyone ever powder-coated their upper/lowers, I know i can cerakote them but I like the fast turn around utilizing a local powder coat place. |
