What upper parts kit do you recommend?  I didn't want to but I got an Aero upper for $130. just afraid i'll never get another chance.  Also is there a differebnce if I want to get a free float tube as far as the upper kit is concerned?

Depending on what handguard you want, it might use a standard barrel nut or it might use a proprietary one.  One thing to think about.  What comes in the "kit" that you are talking about?  You'll also probably want a low profile gas block...
