I am sending a slide to Robar to get coated soon.
Are there any Do's and Don'ts for coating Ar15 triggers in NIB or NP3?

Because I have a new in bag ALG QMS Geissele (This One Here) along with JP yellows that I might throw into the coating batch. For a SPR Build.
I could also consider throwing in a spikes milspec into the coating batch too.

What are your thoughts?

Possibly in the future one or both of these sets might make their way Bill Springfield.

So you have a ALG trigger now, but you are contemplating sending another trigger to get coated?  Why not just put that in with the JP springs and try that out and see if you like it?

Edit: if you do try out your ALG trigger with those springs, let us know how it goes. I have that same kind of trigger and I really like it. I have thought of getting those springs for ALG trigger myself.

I wouldn't coat the sears on a trigger with Nickel Boron or NP3+. I considered doing it on several Geisselle trigger groups. Mainly, I wanted the finish on the face of the hammer to aid with cycling smoothness. I decided it wasn't worth risking changing any sear engagement points.

Thats more then answer I was looking for.
Risk of changing the sear engagement or even the tolerances on the internal faces.
