As the title says, I'm working on my first build. So far, I've gotten a YHM lower with a PSA Magpul ACS-L lower build kit and a BAD. Nothing too fancy.
http://i.imgur.com/8pfnEfL.jpg I'm ready to start on my upper. I know 5 things, and 5 things only: 1. I want this barrel: Yankee Hill 14.5 Inch Fluted, 1:7 Inch Twist, Pinned 5C2 Flash Hider 2. That barrel needs a two piece gas block since the flash hider is permanently pinned. At least that's what I've discovered via research. 3. I want a Nickel Boron bolt carrier group. I'll probably go FailZero. 4. I want a monolithic carbine upper receiver. I like the VLTOR VIS, but I'd probably be okay with the Aero C.O.P. 5. I like Rainier's Raptor charging handle. What other parts will I need to complete the thing? |

Just a gas tube it seems. I think you've accounted for everything else.
