So I have dug and have been unable to find a thread already about Mid-Length rifle gas and Mid-Length hand guards.
This is my build in its current state. I would like upgrade it to a free floated tubular hand guard. perferably a Nordic Components AR Hand Guard, Mid Length or JP/VTAC modular free float hand guard, mid length I'm looking for someone with a simialr build to mine but with one of those tubes or one like it. rifle is a 16" barrel with a battle comp so over all 18.5" with a Mid-Length gas and A2 front sight.

I did some searching to find something similar to what your looking for. Their really aren't many out there. Here is what I've found that is close. Obviously its not a fixed front, but it does have the TRX and a midlength gas system with the block exposed. I also found this VTAC on a dissipator. I really like the way this one looks.  |
A little more looking and I found a sampson and a VTAC  Personally I prefer a low profile gas block and 12" of rail. I like to grip a little farther out so it gives me the room I like and a longer sight radius. That VTAC should give you a pretty good idea of how it will look with a Troy Alpha attached. |
