A few weeks back, I bought an ambi tactical latch from a seller off gunbroker, and when I went to install itt the other day, I found out that it would not work on my charging handle. The seller said I could trade it out for another latch, but then after I sent pictures, he said they wouldn't work either. He then said he would be willing to give me a credit of the amount ($17) towards another part. I have a complete build, and don't "need" anything, but would like to get something that could possibly be of use to me one day.

I'm just looking for some ideas of some parts in the $17 range that might be a good idea to have an extra laying around. If neccessary, i can always add a little cash to the credit too  if the part is a little extra.. Thanks in advance for any input.

Roll pins, Detents, Springs, etc....

Also, maybe firing pin, retainer, cam, etc..

To make it cost effective, I usually pick-up "spare parts" as complete BCGs, LPKs, complete uppers, etc. Before the panic, PSA used to have some crazy Daily Deals on such items. However, I usually end up turning my spare parts into complete rifles or pistols at some point.

Get an extractor upgrade kit and as mentioned above, some spare springs, roll pins and the like to keep in your shooting box.

Gas rings first (need at least 3), firing pin next, roll cam pin, safety detent, safety spring, then a firing pin retaining pin if you still have credit available.

When you say an extractor upgrade kit, would that be the same thing as the little o-ring that came in the bag with my BCM BCG? If so, I had my BCG disassembled the other day and considering doing it then, but then I just figured I'd do it next time for whatever reason. What differences wouldn't I expect from doing that? Shells ejected out faster and farther? I know my cousin already hates sitting 2 lanes down from me now as it is ha
