Thoughts on first Build Completion- > Build It Yourself

Just wanted to get some input on the parts I used for my first build. This will be a Target, Hunting, Defense 223. I got a lot of info from this site along with others with what parts to use, best all around parts and long-term reliability. Still looking to shoot it as I have no access to any ammo at the moment

Looks good. Must be hard not having any ammo to go shoot it, I would feel like it was teasing me the whole time.

Needs more rang time...

Question, I noticed you left off the dust cover. Any reason why? It almost looks like the billet upper is too big for the MI nut to retain the cover. I just order that same hand guard, so just wondering if that was an issue.

I wondered the same thing about the dust cover. It appears there is enough space, just either forgot or decided dust was never going to be an issue?

Not my cup of tea..Too much money wasted to impress. And now you can't even shoot it.. will make a cool lamp though..

No reason for a dust cover IMO, unless you are in battle. When it's not in use it's locked up, I ordred the upper with no dust cover.
