Does anyone have experience with this stock?
I know, dumb question. I realize that it's a quick way to waste a large amount of ammo, but what are your experiences using this mod? |

I've only fired mine one day, but it is an absolute hoot! For about $100 more than the price of just a tax stamp you can get pretty much full-auto fun. It will put a very big smile on your face. Compared to $16-20K for a transferable M16, it is a pretty good deal It is somewhat of a pain to change it out from a regular stock (ie. probably wouldn't want to swithc out at the range) so I bought a PSA lower and have that dedicated to the Slide Fire. You can de-activate it (ie. lock it so it works like a regular stock) if you want, but I personally don't like it as a fixed stock. If you have a range where you can use it, I'd recommend it. Really a lot of fun and the only way at this time that I can experience "auto" fire. |
| My buddy has one that I've played with quite a bit. It is INSANELY fun but I wouldn't buy one at the price they go for. At deer camp last year each of a half dozen guys tried it with a 30-rnd mag plus my buddy went through 3 mags ... it loses it's luster when you realize you just went through 270-rnds in about 3 minutes. BUT, if you've got the money to spend it works exactly as advertised and is pretty much the full-auto experience. It's a fun novelty. |

I shot with it once at my buds house. Fun and the closest thing a civvy will get to FA without paying out the arse.
I would recomend going to a range that has FA toys for rent or finding a friend with one. They are hideous imo and you go through ammo like water on a hot day. This Texan just doesn't have the ammo funds! :D |

| After getting the chance to shoot a real full auto i bought one to check it out. It is a blast to shot and i will say it is very similar to real full auto. Having said that you will waste a ton of ammo. I dont care for it if shooting single shot for accuracy. It is lose and wobly. I took it off my rifle and its sitting on a shelf now. I plan to install it on one of my current builds as just a occasional for fun thing. If i could get one at about half the price i would order one for my ak too. |

So I looked this up, while I personally still don't care for the model it is a HUGE, HUGE, HUGE improvement over the original design. |

I really like mine... It's a hoot to shoot... and fun to share... everybody I've let try it loves it. For the record, they have come out with another model that closely resembles a typical collapsible carbine stock - a big improvement as far as aesthetics go IMO.
Yes, that's their SBS model, and definitely preferred. I just Duracoated mine: http://mlcpartners.com/pics/Duracoated_MC_AR15.jpg What pad did you put on the stock? Looks good. |
